| There hasn't been a time when we haven't had a spaniel in our house. My earliest baby picture has a spaniel of some kind sitting beside the baby carriage. We enjoyed several years of Obedience Training with our American Cocker Spaniels, and learned the joy of the sporty character and temperament that all well bred spaniels have. | ![]() |

Due to the generosity of a well known
Cocker Spaniel breeder, we were
able to adopt an older, "retired" show spaniel, and enjoyed three years
with him, falling in love with this senior dog who was enjoying his
second puppy-hood. Our introduction to the Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel was through a breeder friend who needed to leave the country ,
and let us take care of one of their dogs, and we fell in love again! |

| The first cavalier of our own was one of her puppies, Tootsie, who lived to be 14 yrs and 5 mths old! We have enjoyed many years of swimming, hiking, competing and breeding our Cavaliers. At present, we are carefully blending our Canadian dogs with European bloodlines to enlarge the gene pool in our line. Occasionally, we have puppies for sale, as we aim for 1 or 2 litters per year. | ![]() |

Our puppies have proven themselves to be
excellent for active, competitive life styles, as well as good pets for
families with children and seniors. Our goals are first and always, the
best homes for our pups and healthy pups. Our breeding dogs are
screened regularly for heart and eyes, at certification clinics, as
well as frequent vet checks for hips and petallas. |

| We look forward to
many more years of showing and loving our Cavaliers, and have added
another spaniel breed , the English Cocker Spaniel. We wanted to
experience another kind of spaniel while we were still able to enjoy an
active lifestyle, so our first English Cocker arrived in Oct. She is a
red female and called Briar, and we look forward to showing her and
breeding her in the future. |

We
keep our old dogs, and people to come and visit to get their "spaniel
fix," even if they are not looking for a dog of their own. No one is too old or too young to enjoy a spaniel. |
